The tree top

  1. Kale
  2. Cara Cara oranges (2)
  3. Fuji apple
  4. Walnuts
  5. Uncooked oats
  6. Water to below max

Mmm Mmm Mmm. Those walnuts and oatmeal take the texture of this drink to the next level. So smooth.

I find myself gravitating towards ingredients and concoctions that give me that good "mouth feel." As in I crave smooth, thick, and almost creamy textures. Anything more "watery" I find doesn't fill me up and keep me satisfied until my next meal, so...I'm experimenting with using less liquid and more dense ingredients/boosts. I don't add dairy to my blends, so I have to make up for the creaminess that yogurt or milk would provide.

This is the last day of the workweek for me, yay! Happy Thursday.
